It depends on the size of the site and how quickly your content comes back to me. A single-page site is quick; a six-page site with a chatbot takes longer. I give you a timeline before the deposit, and I would rather quote honestly than rush a launch to hit a date.
The site is set up for it from day one — page titles, headings, structured data, sitemap submitted to Google on launch. Ranking is not instant and nobody can promise a position. A new site is typically indexed within a week, starts appearing for specific local searches within a month, and settles into position over three to six months, faster if your Google Business Profile is claimed and has a few reviews.
Yes, entirely. The code, the domain and the hosting account are all in your name at handover. You are never tied to me for edits, and there is no monthly fee on the build itself.
